Cloudflare lab covers concepts from the Basic level to the advanced level. This provides content delivery network services, cloud cybersecurity, DDoS mitigation, and ICANN-accredited domain registration services. Cloudflare is a content delivery network (CDN) and cloud safety platform that provides website optimization, security, and performance services. It acts as a mediator between a website’s server and its visitors, improving the speed and reliability of the website while also protecting it from online threats. Cloudflare acts as a reverse proxy for web traffic. It supports web protocols including SPDY and HTTP/2, QUIC, and support for HTTP/2 Server Push. The Cloudflare web application firewall (WAF) is the cornerstone of our advanced application security portfolio that keeps applications secure and productive. As of 2023, Cloudflare handles an average of 45 million HTTP requests per second. Cloudflare provides DDoS mitigation services that protect customers from distributed denial of
service (DDoS) attacks. Cloudflare sits in front of the Google Cloud Platform infrastructure to safeguard and accelerate web properties, no matter what GCP services you are building with. Cloudflare Gateway is a secure web gateway that includes DNS filtering, along with browser isolation and other technologies that keep internal users secure.
